Your information.
A plain-language explanation of how your information is used.
What the app saves
When you’re signed in, a code that identifies you links your requests, session scripts, recordings, favorites, optional helpful/not-quite feedback, and listening progress to your account. When you listen, the app saves how long you listened, your local date and your time zone, to show your weekly activity and so no listening time is counted twice if the app has to try again. Feedback helps choose saved sessions to suggest; it is not a measure of health or therapeutic improvement. Your account name and email are supplied by sign-in and displayed on the Account page. We also remember whether you have seen the introduction, so it does not repeat on each device. Search in Your sessions looks only at your saved sessions. Your search words are sent to the app, but they are not put in the web address or saved as a search history by the app. An unfinished request is kept in this browser tab so you can continue after signing in.
Email sign-in keeps your email address and current step in this browser tab, so if you refresh the page or change language within 30 minutes, you don’t have to start again. It never stores your email code. This step is cleared when you finish signing in, change the email address, or sign out. Closing the tab clears everything kept in it.
So emailed codes can’t be misused, the app counts the sign-in codes asked for and tried from each internet connection and for each email address in a day, and the codes asked for to delete an account. It keeps only scrambled codes made from them, never the addresses themselves, and deletes them within a few days.
When your first session is ready, we email your sign-in address once, through Resend, with a link back to it; the email never includes your words.
If you turn on the daily reminder, we email your sign-in address once a day at the time you pick, through Resend, with a link to stop it. We keep your answer, that time, your time zone and language, and when the last reminder went out. The email never includes your words.
If you start a 7-day series, any words you add are saved with it and used for each day’s session, are included in a copy of your data, and are deleted when you clear all sessions or delete your account.
While a session is made from words you wrote, the app shows one sentence about what it will be for, written by the same AI step that checks your request. It’s saved with that session, included in a copy of your data, and deleted with it. Change something deletes that session before any audio is made and puts your words back on Today.
An internal usage report counts sessions created, listening time, and repeat listening from saved session and playback records. It contains totals, not names, email addresses, requests, scripts, or feedback text. Sample sessions are excluded. Deleting sessions changes these totals; no separate tracking history is kept.
If something goes wrong in the app, your browser sends a short technical report so it can be fixed: the kind of error, where in the app’s code it happened, the page, the browser and system you use, and the app’s language. It never includes your words, sessions, name, email address or account. Your IP address is only used to limit how many reports can be sent, and the app doesn’t keep it.
If you send feedback about the app, we keep your message with the page, device and account it came from, and your email if you’d like a reply, so we can read it, reply and improve the app. We delete it after 12 months, or when you delete your account if you sent it while signed in. Your first message while you’re signed in brings a thank-you card from Lottie, so we keep the date it came with your account, until you delete your account. So it can’t be misused, the app counts the messages from each internet connection and each account in a day, keeping only short scrambled codes, never your IP address, and deletes them within a few days.
Language on this device
Choose the app language in Account. Your choice is kept in a cookie on this device for up to one year. English is shown until you choose a language. Changing the interface language does not translate your saved requests or recordings. The current sample audio is in English.
The player remembers your volume and background sound choice in this browser. These settings contain no session words and stay on this device.
Once you open the app, a small cookie on this device notes that you’ve started, so the home page shows a button that opens the app. It holds nothing about you or your sessions, and it stays for up to 400 days.
On Today, this device remembers Lottie’s last hello, last few lines and mood for the day, so Lottie doesn’t repeat a line and keeps one mood all day. It holds none of your words and isn’t tied to your account.
If your place in a session hasn’t been saved to your account yet, the player keeps a small bookmark on this device for the same account. It holds the timing and short codes that identify the sessions, not your words or audio. Bookmarks are ignored after seven days and removed here when you sign out, clear your sessions, or delete that session. If your account has a newer place saved, that one is used. Time you listened while offline is not recovered after you close the page.
How you like to listen: in your words
You can optionally write how you like to listen in Account. These words are separate from your session requests. Each new session keeps a copy of the words used when it was created; later edits apply to new sessions only. When personalized sessions are switched on, your request and that copy are checked together before the session is written. Today’s request takes priority. The sample in the preview is always the same.
Edit or clear your current words in Account. Clear saved sessions removes the copies attached to those sessions, but keeps your current words until you clear them separately. A copy of your data includes both.
Unfinished edits to these words are kept in this browser tab so you can return after navigating, changing the app language, or signing in again. They are restored only for the same account and are not applied until you press Save. Signing out clears this draft. A copy of your data includes the saved words, not unfinished browser edits.
How you like to listen: your choices
Rewirely saves the listening choices you explicitly make, such as simpler words or more pauses. It does not infer personal facts from your listening. You can view, change or forget these choices in Account. Each new personalized session gets a copy of them to use when its script is written; your request today and the words you wrote in Account take priority. The sample in the preview stays the same.
These choices stay saved when you clear sessions, until you forget them separately or delete your Rewirely account. Forgetting a choice stops its use for new sessions. Sessions already created retain their original copy until you delete them. A copy of your data includes these choices and the copies used by sessions.
Your work
In the welcome you can choose what you do for work, or skip the question. Your answer is saved with your account so new personalized sessions can fit your day, and each new session keeps a copy of it. An answer given before signing in, or while offline, waits in this browser tab until your account has it. Signing out clears it from the tab.
When a personalized session is written, Anthropic receives your answer with your request. The narration provider receives only the final spoken script. Your answer is never sent to advertising partners or used for ads. Change or forget it in Account; sessions already made keep their copy until you delete them. A copy of your data includes your answer and the copies used by sessions, and deleting your Rewirely account deletes them.
What Lottie calls you
In the welcome or in Account, you can tell Lottie what to call you, or skip it. The name is saved with your account, each new session keeps a copy, and Anthropic and the narration provider receive it to write and voice those sessions. A name given before signing in, or while offline, waits in this browser tab until your account has it. Signing out clears it from the tab. It’s never sent to advertising partners or used for ads. Remove it in Account anytime; sessions already made keep their copy until you delete them, a copy of your data includes it and those copies, and deleting your Rewirely account deletes them.
Your word
If you choose a word to help bring back the feeling of a session, it’s saved with your account, and each new session keeps a copy that Anthropic and the narration provider receive to write and voice it, never for ads. Change or remove it in Account anytime; sessions already made keep their copy until you delete them, a copy of your data includes it and those copies, and deleting your Rewirely account deletes them.
Feedback for next time
After listening, you can save a short note about how you like to listen. The three most recently saved notes can inform new personalized sessions, after safety checks. Your request today and what you saved in Account take priority. Your ratings, favorites and most recent session also help choose the methods new sessions use, such as slow breathing or a calm place. For this, Anthropic receives only those methods, not those sessions’ requests or scripts. Ratings are not used to infer personal facts. Anthropic may also receive a few words naming the main image of a recent favorite, or of a session whose pictures or words helped most, so your next session can come back to it once.
Edit or remove a note from its saved session. Removing it stops its use in future sessions; sessions already created retain the copy they started with until you delete them. A copy of your data includes saved notes and those copies. Unfinished notes stay in this browser tab, are restored only when you can access that session, and are cleared when you sign out or remove the session.
How you feel
If you answer how you feel before or after a session, your answer is saved with that session in your account only so you can see your own progress; it isn’t used to make sessions or sent to AI providers or advertising partners. Turn the questions off or clear your answers in Account anytime; deleting a session or your account deletes them, and a copy of your data includes them.
What helped most
When a session ends, you can choose what helped most: the breathing, the pictures, the words or the voice. Your answer is saved with that session in your account, and your three latest answers help shape new sessions. For this, Anthropic receives only which of the four you chose and, if it was the pictures or the words, a few words naming that session’s main image, never your words. Deleting a session or your account deletes your answer, and a copy of your data includes it.
Background sound
If you choose a background sound in Account, your choice is saved with your account, and each new session notes the sound it was made with. Neither is sent to AI providers or advertising partners. A copy of your data includes them; deleting a session deletes its note, and deleting your Rewirely account deletes your choice.
Voice
If you choose a voice in Account, your choice is saved with your account, and each new session notes the voice it was made with. The company that voices your sessions is told only which of its voices to use, and neither is sent to advertising partners. A copy of your data includes them; deleting a session deletes its note, and deleting your Rewirely account deletes your choice.
Where it goes
Saved records and the audio made for your sessions are kept in the database and private file storage of the company that hosts the app. When personalized sessions are switched on, Anthropic receives your request and what you saved about how you like to listen, including the saved notes used by that session, and uses them to check your request and write the script. The narration provider the app uses—ElevenLabs, Google Gemini, Speechify, or optionally Cartesia—receives the final spoken script, not your original request. The app asks the AI that writes the script to remove identifying details and removes detected names unless you explicitly ask to hear your name. Automated detection can miss details; please avoid sharing private health information or identifying details you do not need in a session.
The optional Speak instead button uses your browser’s speech recognition. Your browser or device provider may process that recording under its own terms. You can type instead.
AI providers
Personalized sessions are written using Anthropic and voiced by the voice provider the app uses. Sample recordings are labeled and do not use your request to create new audio. The app uses ElevenLabs or Cartesia only once it’s confirmed that the app has said no to them using its data to train their AI, and Gemini only with a paid account. Each provider’s own terms, and its own rules on how long it keeps data, apply separately.
When ElevenLabs makes audio and sends back a code for the copy it keeps in its history, the app puts that copy on a list to be deleted once the app has saved the finished recording, or once it gives up on that attempt to make the voice. Deletions that fail are tried again automatically in the background. Missing codes, cut-off replies, backups and how long providers keep data have to be checked separately; deleting something in the app does not guarantee it is deleted right away from every provider’s systems. The part of the app that sends text to Anthropic logs only which AI model it used and for which step, how long it took and how much text was used, never your words.
When a new session is written, Anthropic also receives the titles of up to 12 of your latest sessions, so the new title is easy to tell apart.
Each new session can also get a picture of a calm place. To draw it, Google’s Gemini, used only with a paid account, receives a short scene for that session in the app’s own words, never yours, and nothing about your name, health or private life. The picture is kept with the session and deleted with it, when you clear your sessions, or when you delete your account. A copy of your data says whether it was drawn and the scene it was drawn from.
Safety
Rewirely is for relaxation and wellness, not therapy or medical treatment. Requests that need a different kind of support, or cannot pass the safety check, do not produce a personalized recording.
Advertising and billing
This app has no advertising pixels and doesn’t track the pages you visit. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page, not in this app, and Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
Texting Lottie
Lottie is an AI, not a person. When you text Lottie before a session, your texts are sent to Anthropic to write Lottie’s replies, without email addresses or phone numbers, and each one gets the same safety check as a request. Your texts and Lottie’s replies are kept with the session they make, and are deleted with that session, when you clear your sessions, or when you delete your account. A conversation that hasn’t made a session is deleted when you start another one, or after two days. A copy of your data includes them. Calls with Lottie, once they’re offered, won’t keep any audio.
Your place in the introduction is kept in this browser tab, so you can go back, refresh, or change language without starting over. It is cleared when you finish, skip the introduction, or sign out.
Messages from organizations
If you write to us from the page for schools and organizations, we keep what you send: your name, work email, organization, what kind of organization it is and about how many people, your country, your message, and the app language you were using. We use it only to reply to you, never for marketing. It’s kept in the app’s database and deleted after 12 months. So the form can’t be misused, the app counts the messages from each internet connection in a day: it keeps only a short scrambled code made from your IP address, never the address itself, and deletes it within a few days.
To have your message deleted sooner, email us: support@rewirely.app
Get a copy or clear your sessions
Account lets you clear all saved sessions. You can also delete individual sessions. Deletion removes the saved request, title, script, available audio, favorites, feedback, and records of your listening from the storage the app uses day to day. Your introduction preference stays saved. To keep usage limits in place and stop deleted requests from being made again, minimal records remain: short codes that identify the session, your account and the request, dates and times, and usage counts.
To get a copy of your saved text and progress, email us: support@rewirely.app. We answer within one month.
If an interrupted audio upload finishes after deletion, it is marked for removal. Short codes that identify the files are kept until the app can check what happened to uploads it isn’t sure about. Regular cleanup relies on a task that runs in the background, and that task isn’t set up in this preview.
This does not delete your account with the service you sign in with, erase copies you downloaded, or make sure copies are deleted from providers’ logs or backups of the app’s systems. How long backups are kept, how long providers keep data, the contact details of the business that runs the app, and the final public privacy policy must be settled before the app opens to customers.
Delete your Rewirely account
When customer sign-in and background deletion are connected, Account also offers permanent account deletion. It requires a fresh email code and your confirmation. Saved sessions, preferences and introduction settings are removed before your Rewirely sign-in. Your Google or Apple account is not deleted. The request keeps running if you close the page; a private seven-day cookie shows its progress after sign-in is removed. Codes are never saved.
Minimal records remain: short identifying codes, when things were deleted, and records the app needs to clean up. They’re kept to stop old requests that arrive late from bringing deleted content back, and to remove audio uploads that finish late. Copies held by providers, backups of the app’s systems and files you downloaded are separate.
When billing is connected and cancellation handling is available, confirmed account deletion stops future subscription charges before removing your saved sessions and sign-in. Access ends immediately. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund.
When deletion finishes, the app removes its saved billing email. Minimal records may remain: short codes that point to your customer record, subscription, checkouts and billing events, kept to check that payment records match, to keep financial records, and as proof of what you agreed to at checkout. Records held by the payment company are separate.
